How we got here.

How it started

Ifeanyi and I technically worked at the same company although he joined just as I was leaving. We never actually spoke then, but somewhere along the line, a mutual friend posted my picture on Instagram, he saw it, followed me and the rest slowly started unfolding from there.

Since my page was private, I asked around about him first and a mutual friend he had mentored spoke so highly of him that I accepted his request. For a long time, that was all it was; occasional DMs, birthday messages and healthy debates over random posts. We were quietly orbiting each other for years without realizing where it would lead.

The first call

Then came Mother's Day in 2025. I posted a photo of my mom and he replied saying how beautiful she is. Somewhere in that conversation, he mentioned that we had never actually spoken on the phone before and honestly, neither of us knew why. We exchanged numbers that day and after our very first call, everything changed. We spoke for hours like we had known each other forever. He made me laugh, made me comfortable and somehow felt instantly familiar in the best way.

Not long after, he came to London to see me and meeting him in person just confirmed everything. He was sweet, thoughtful, handsome and being around him felt easy. Like home. It genuinely felt like I had known him all my life.

Albania

A few months later, in November, he flew me out to Albania and proposed in the most beautiful, romantic, quiet and private way. What made it even more special was discovering that our family and friends had secretly planned it with him all along. I had absolutely no idea.

And now

We've spent the last year in our own little world, learning each other, loving each other deeply and building a life that already feels like home even across different countries and time zones. It has been a year full of long conversations, flights, FaceTimes, shared dreams, laughter and so much love. Now we're so excited to share a glimpse of our world and celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
